Privacy Policy for Noise37

App: Noise37

Summary
Noise37 is a personal task and prioritization app. Your missions, projects, tasks, and notes are stored locally on your device. When the Scout proxy is configured, Prioritize sends questionnaire answers and backlog context to our Vercel-hosted Scout proxy, which calls Google Gemini. Import/Export writes JSON backups through your device's share sheet. The app does not upload them. We do not operate cloud servers for your task data in this version. No microphone in the current release. No analytics or account required.
1. Data we store on your device
The app persists data using on-device storage (AsyncStorage via Zustand). This includes:
- Mission, project, and task titles and notes
- Task status, priority (Elo) scores, and daily session state
- Dashboard performance history
- Scout calibration answer history and question history
- App settings (dark mode, notifications, Scout baseline summary)
This data stays on your phone unless you export it, uninstall the app, or clear app storage. We do not sync to a cloud backend in the current release.
2. Scout calibration
When you run Prioritize on the Today tab, Scout may present short scale questions (1–5). Your answers are stored on-device and may be sent to our proxy together with backlog context, including:
- Mission names and labels
- Up to 40 open task titles and notes with project names, status, and flags
- Carry-over and WIP counts, prior mission allocation, and your last stand-up summary
- Recent scale answers and trait question history
If the proxy is unreachable, the app uses built-in fallback questions and local intent summaries. You can adjust mission allocation manually without using AI.
3. Third-party AI (Scout proxy and Google Gemini)
The proxy receives an anonymous device identifier (X-Device-Id) generated on your phone for rate limiting only. It is not your name, email, or account.
Third parties process data under their respective privacy policies (Google Privacy Policy). We do not sell your data or use task content for advertising.
No microphone is used in the current release.
4. Network
The app uses the network when the Scout proxy is configured. No account login is required for the MVP.
5. Notifications (optional)
If you enable Notifications in Settings, the app schedules local reminders on your device (no push server):
Notifications are opt-in (default off) and can be disabled in the app or system settings.
6. Import and export
Settings → Import / Export lets you save or restore a JSON backup via your device's share sheet. The app does not send backups to our servers.
7. Analytics and crash reporting
The current release does not include third-party analytics or crash reporting SDKs.
8. Children
Noise37 is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Your choices
- Skip or limit AI. Use fallback questions and manual allocation.
- Disable notifications in app Settings.
- Back up or restore via Import/Export in Settings.
- Delete all data by uninstalling or clearing storage in Android Settings.
10. Changes
We may update this policy before store releases. The “Last updated” date will change accordingly.
